Form and function

FlexCurbs have the form and function of real curbs as found on race tracks around the world. They have an angled shape and a grooved contour. When drifting or driving over them, the "chatter" is produced just like the original! Visually, your track will be enhanced as you will have additional orientation when going through turns and corner exits. It is an optical deco element. The beginning and end piece is rounded in each case.

Material and dimensions

FlexCurbs are made in our tools from flexible, UV resistant polyurethane(PU) - material and are therefore resistant and durable. Our curbs are not varnished, the PU material is dyed accordingly so that cleaning with e.g. alcohol is possible. RAS FlexCurbs are available in different colors as strips with the dimensions L 308 mm x W 22 mm x H 5 mm. There are 2 rounded end pieces on each strip. Each individual curb element measures 22 mm x 22 mm. One RAS FlexCurbs set has a total length of 61.6 cm (2 x 30.8 cm).

Mounting

The square curbs are separated with a cutter knife or scissors and glued on as desired (e.g. 1 x white - 1 x green - or 2 x white - 2 x green etc.). Rounded beginnings can be made with the beginning and end pieces. For gluing we recommend our RAS 3M double-sided adhesive tape. It is essential to use the 3M VHB cleaning cloth to remove the waxy release agent, fingerprints and oil-containing dirt from the underside of the curbs and the track before bonding.

Before mounting, check the resistance of the surfaces / substrates!

Tire stacks in scale 1:32 and 1:24

The tire stacks are a proprietary development and are made of CNC-machined multi-layer special foam and have the shape of several tire stacks lying next to each other. Vehicles leaving the racetrack are braked by the tire stacks and thus no longer damaged. The stacks can be mounted side by side and one behind the other. On the basis of the example pictures you can see different possibilities of use.
